Crock-Pot Chicken Teriyaki

crock pot chicken teriyakiIt is so hard to have a home cooked meal when you are away from the house for 12 to 14 hours a day … that is why I love meal that can be cooked in the crock pot.  Here is a simple recipe for crock pot chicken.

1 lb chicken, diced works best but can be done with any chicken
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup teriyaki sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 can pineapple with juice, chunks/rings/crushed (optional)
3 garlic cloves, minced

1. Combine chicken broth, teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, and garlic cloves in large bowl.
2. Add chicken and pineapple to sauce, and toss to combine.
3. Pour chicken mixture into crock-pot.
4. Cook on low until chicken is cooked through, at least 4 to 6 hours.
5. Serve over hot cooked rice or noodles and spoon extra sauce if desired.

You can also add veggies like broccoli or sugar snap peas!
